A brief scare
Today Randel, Anthony and I decided to walk across the street to check out the new Mediterranean buffet that had just opened up. Randel cut up some pieces of meat for Anthony to eat. Unfortunately they weren't small enough and before we knew it Anthony was coughing, tearing up and choking. I started giving him hard pats on his back but it was still lodged in his throat. I kept trying and finally he got it out. He was crying from me hitting his back and scaring him. It really didn't last long at all, maybe just a few seconds but it seemed like they were taking an eternity and I can't even began to explain the fear that I felt for that very brief moment. Randel picked him up and took him outside to calm him down while I sat there actually flushed and feeling my heart still racing. All ended well, he was back to his happy self in no time and enjoyed his, much smaller cut up, pieces of fruit.

I'll bet that was scary! I'm glad it had a happy ending. That's a great picture of Anthony. Dad
Wow! That was scary. I won't be giving Anthony any food in Boston. I'll leave that to you. That would have scared me to death.
