I am a UT graduate so that makes me a longhorn fan. But, as everyone knows Randel is a die hard Baylor Bear fan. So even though I live in the city where most bleed orange I find myself cheering for the Bears today against the Longhorns in tonights basketball game. I just can't bear to see Randel once again sit down with hope in his eyes and then see him be crushed so I really hope that the Bears pull it out and gain their first victory over the horns in a long long time. I think the stat is the Bears have lost the last 35 games against UT so here is hoping for a big miracle.
Speaking of the Bears, last weekend Anthony was able to join Randel and Jud in their annual father son trip to waco to watch a little basketball and baseball. This was the first time in 21 months that I was left all alone with no husband or child. I realized that as much as I sometimes want some alone time that I ended up missing them and thinking one night apart was just enough time. Mia (anthonys grandma) put together a little slideshow of their weekend so I figured I would post it for everyone.

do yourself a favor and cheer for the longhorns. Much less heartache and despair. That being said, Bears by 20 tonight!
Juanita -- You are nice to root for the Bears but get ready for a lot of disappointment if you make it a habit. Anthony was perfect on our Baylor trip and is now an official member of the fraternity. He was an absolute delight the whole time. And his Grandad loves him a lot. Jud
Go Bears!!!!!!! I was so proud of them last night when they beat Kansas. They made my year, even if they lose tonight.
It is good to be away from you boys so you will know how much you miss them. I am so glad Anthony and Randel have you in their lives. They are lucky.
What a great slide show! That weekend must have been a blast.
