Spring Break

I love the fact that I have a profession that lets me still look forward to spring break. Randel couldn't stand the idea of me being off so he ended up taking the week off as well. We got to spend the first 3 and a half days just relaxing on our own since Anthony was visiting Mia and Grandad. It sure is weird to not have a toddler to run around behind all day. We played frisbee golf together, hung out at the park, watched a movie during the day, sat and had lunch and just enjoyed spending time together. We missed our little guy by Thursday and were super excited to get to see him again. I think breaks like that are sometimes needed in a relationship and we are grateful to have family that can give us that. Thursday we headed to Houston to see Abuelo and Abuela. Then we spent most of Friday in traffic heading to Galveston since it was windy and chilly we only spent about an hour there but it was still fun to see Anthony playing in the sand. Saturday we headed over to the Houston Rodeo. Anthony rolled around on a hill, saw cows, pigs, sheep and goats and got to ride on some cool tractors. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing spring break and now I can't wait for summer. Here are a few pics from the week. The bluebonnet ones were taken on our way back from Houston. We thought we found the best patch of bluebonnets until we drove a few miles further up and saw a huge field of them. Oh well, I still think these came out nice.
