The bears, ducks and oso.

Well I have to say that I feel bad about making fun of the Bears maybe only winning 4 games now that they ended up losing by so much to Wake forest. For those that somehow missed the game last night the bears went down 41-13. There is still a chance though, right Randel? As heart wrenching as it is I am sure he will be giddy at the beginning of every game this year in hopes that they pull out a win and once again I will see him pouting as the end of the 2nd quarter rolls around and he turns the tv off with a big disapointed look on his face as if it is a complete shock that they are loosing. Sorry to all the Bears fans out there, I really do feel for ya. Oh, and ...... hook 'em horns.

Excerpt from my day:
Me: Ok, so there are 7 ducks swimming in the pond. Some left and now there are only 4. How many ducks left?

Student raises hand.

Me: Yes, tell the class what you think the answer is.

Student: Well I don't know that but I think the ones that left came to my apartment because I saw a bunch of them outside yesterday.

End of day: There won't be homework because it's Friday.

Students: Awww but why not!!!!!

I have a strange set of kids who are the only ones around that have requested homework all week and are disapointed if they don't have any. We shall see how long that lasts.

Oso (AKA Anthony) oso is what the teachers at daycare call anthony. Today Randel picked him up from daycare and one of the teachers said bye to him. He turned back waved and said bye back. Randel gave him his cell phone to play with and he opened it up and said hello. Silly boy.
