CJ the Bully? I'm not so sure

So I figured I would chime in on Juanita's blog to tell you guys about anthony's day yesterday. He comes running in yesterday pointing at his face worked up pretty good and says. "CJ bite me"

Randel: one of your friends bit your face?
Anthony: YEA! and smacked me with a ball like BAM!(making hitting motions towards his face)
Randel: Why did he do that?
Anthony: UMMM, I hit him.
Randel: You hit CJ so he bit you back?
Anthony: YEA! Like this. (again hitting his face)
Randel: Did Miss Jackie see this?
Anthony: Yea, we go to timeout. NO CJ! (another hit to his face)

Not sure who the bully is here, but when he got to school this morning he saw CJ and it appears all is well between the two fighters.

Anthony: I gotta blue shirt!
CJ: WOW!

Carnival

So this past weekend we went to our first carnival. Anthony had a blast and he even went into his first funhouse. He ended up smacking right into one of those glass walls that they have in their but it didn't seem to bother him much since he was way more focused on getting to the top so he could come down the slide. Here are some pics, the last ones are from Zuma where my brother works and that big guy with him in some pics is Carlos (my sisters boyfriend). Just in case you thought we just let him ride with some random guy. Randel wasn't there and my sister and I are scared of the bumper boats and at the carnival I couldn't go with him in the funhouse since it required open toe shoes. So he was nice enough to go with Anthony.

It's a lot of random pics but that's what my blog is about. Just showing off my kiddo to my family and friends.

He looks like such a big boy in this picture.

The prize he won.

Trying to get me with his new bat.

Funhouse

The funhouse right before he smacked into the glass.

Driving the train.

I'm not scared mama.

Having a blast.

Relaxing.

He loved this ride, he got off and started talking about how he was flying up in the sky.

Alright, CHEESE!

Bumper boats, he thought it was hilarious when he would spray us.

Conversations and crushes

I get the privilege to pick up Anthony everyday from school and I really do look forward to it. He is always so happy to see me and runs around telling everyone that his mama is here. The nice things now is that we also get to hold conversations in the car about his day. I figured I would post the last conversation we had and then one that I heard him have with his friends.

First one is one that took place at school between Anthony and his friends. I walked in and he was being changed. When he was done his teacher asked him if he wanted his snack before he left and of course he yelled out "YEA!" and then took off to his room to wait for it. I followed and saw his class of 6 other kiddos sitting nicely at their table. That's right 6 little 2 year olds all in their shares quietly waiting for their teacher. How do daycare teachers do this with 6 kids when I can't do it with 1? Anyways, Anthony sits at the head of the table and I stand to the side and wait for his teacher to bring the snacks. As I wait there they start talking:

Paxon: Anthony is that your mama?
Anthony: Yea that is my mama
CJ: No that is not Anthonys mama.
Audrey: YES ! it is Anthonys mama.
Anthony: Yea it's my mama, right there
Audrey: I told you that was Anthonys mama
Paxon: Oh ok, so that is your mama
Anthony: Yup, my mama

Not much to it but it was so cute to see them all at a table talking amongst themselves in their own little 2 year old lingo.

Everyday after I get Anthony strapped into his carseat and start heading home, I lower the wiggles and ask him how his day went. Yesterdays conversation:

Me: How was school today bubster?
Anthony: umm it was good
ME: what did you do today?
Anthony: ummm I plaaayed with my bloooooocks, I plaaayed with ms. jackie, I plaayed with my friieennnds.
Me: Oh yea, what friends?
Anthony: umm CJ, Raven
ME: What about Paxon?
Anthony: umm no he's not here today
Me: Oh no, how come?
Anthony: ummm Sick!
ME: oh, that's not good
Anthony: no, no good, Paxon sick, no good
ME: is Paxon your favorite friend at school?
Anthony: no, Raven my favorite friend
ME: Raven?
Anthony: YEA RAVEN!

I love that he remembers what he did and that even one of his friends wasn't there. Each day he has a different thing to tell me about, today it was that he played with bubbles and I am sure tomorrow it will be something just as fun.

Today, when I picked him up we were heading out and he yelled out "Wait!, I have to do something" He then ran back and went to the newest little girl in his class gave her a hug and then planted a big kiss on her cheek. His teacher said that he has been playing with her nonstop and hugging her all day. So, it looks like Anthony has his first crush. Or maybe it's his second since the day before he had said his favorite friend was Raven and this little girl was not Raven! But he has good taste, both girls are quite adorable!

Has it really been a month?

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Life has been hectic with the new school year starting up again. It seems like I went from being excited about going to see The Wiggles to all of a sudden it being a month later and being back to school for 3 weeks (2 with kids back.) Anthony has been amazing this past month . It seems like he has mellowed out more. He still will have his typical 2 year old tantrums at times but he pretty much is just a fun loving 2 year old who loves to tell you that he loves you at random times and give you tons of hugs and kisses. He has adapted well to going back to school and if you didn't see my post on facebook then you ought to know that he welcomed school back by walking in and throwing his hands up in the air and yelling "I'm back!" Picking him up from school has to be one of the best things. As soon as he sees me his eyes get huge and he starts yelling to everyone "hey, it's my mom! it's my mommy! Yeah, it's MY MOM! he runs up and gives me a big hug and then says "bye friends" and waves as we leave. Our evenings our usually spent running around the house trying to get away from the crocodiles that seem to always be around trying to get us. We are always able to escape by hiding under the covers in the guest bedroom. Tonight Anthony and I sat together and made houses with his blocks, then we decided to get a bowl and use his blocks to cook. He mixed them up in the bowl with a big spoon and made all kinds of tasty meals. He made soup for mommy, macaroni for daddy, hamburgers for all of us and cupcakes since daddy requested some. We would pretend to eat them and then we would talk about how good it tasted and smelled. A two year olds imagination is endless and it doesn't take much to make them smile. Just this morning Anthony and Randel played for half an hour by simply having Anthony turn of the dining room light. He would turn it off and Randel would pretend he couldn't see him anymore. He would ask what happened to Anthony and Anthony would giggle like crazy and then suggest that Randel look under the table or above the light or behind the blinds. Randel would look in all the places he would suggest but never find him until Anthony would turn the light back on. Oh, and baylor bears football is back on! Both Randel and Anthony wore their baylor gold and cheered on the bears to victory today. Later, we went out to eat, he had fallen asleep on the way and when we got there Randel was taking him out of his carseat while he was just starting to wake up, I told him I liked his shirt and even though he was still half asleep he rose his head and said "Go bears!" I have said it many times before and I will say it again, this has to be the best stage so far. Each day we say to ourselves how lucky we are to have such a sweet loving son who brings tons of smiles every day.
