Baseball star

Randel decided it was about time Anthony start hitting some balls so we got him his first teeball set. Anthony quickly figured out that he had to use the bat to hit the ball but he still wasn't up for using both hands to hold the bat correctly even after the countless attempts by dad to show him. Well this weekend Grandad had the magic touch because he now is holding the bat with two hands in the right spot. Not only that but man can he hit that ball with a good swing. Here are a couple of pics though these were his first attempts so his hands weren't in quite the proper position. Trust me you would be amazed at him now.

Ring, ring, ring.... Aunt Stacy I just wanted to say I really like my moose pajamas. Love, Anthony

Mrs. Edwards is the best! :)

I just had to share some pics of my first student letters and gifts that I have received from my kiddos.

This one says: " Thank you for being such a good teacher, I love you very much"

Happy Grandparents Day!

Anthony has the best sets of grandparents ever! He is one lucky boy and we certainly are grateful. In case we don't say it enough, thanks again for all the love you give him and all the babysitting.

We once again had a wonderful weekend. Check out the pics. We got his haircut and this time the curls are gone. I am still trying to get used to it. I am putting up a last picture of his curls and then you can check out his new haircut in the ones after it.

After the cut we headed to the mall where anthony enjoyed walking with dad.

Later, we made a last minute decision to go see the Bears play in Waco. It turned out to be a great game that they actually won and not just won but crushed the other team 51-6. Anthony had a blast although I don't think he even knew a game was going on. He just had fun eating corndogs and climbing up and down stairs.

Sunday we woke up and headed to San Antonio to see Mia and Grandad and attend church. Anthony always loves his grandpa's as you can see in this pic. You can see how he gets them wrapped around his finger.

While at Mia and Grandad's Anthony decided that he needed to go ahead and perform the latest symphony piece he had been working on. We quite enjoyed it.

Could we have had a better weekend?

Hopefully I don't jinx this since the weekend isn't actually over but so far it has been great! We had lunch at the Salt lick with Mia, Grandad and Auntie Stacy then we went shopping and everyone got something new. Anthony loved his new Striderite extra wide sandals :). We napped and then headed off to see the Express play some ball. Today we had lunch at the always favorite Luby's then we played at home and sadly put away Anthony's toys that he no longer wanted and turned his crib into a big boy toddler bed. I think that may have been only sad for me though. We then headed out to the bat festival. Anthony was wonderful. He stayed in his car the entire time and enjoyed some snow cone which he eventually decided looked better on him than drinking it. We listened to music saw all the cool things they had and unfortunatley smelled the petting zoo too many times. Those darn bats decided not to come out for their own festival though. We did see daddy tear up today because Anthony had a bad fall. We gave him his bath and then wrapped him up in his towel and layed him in the bed. He ended up moving and falling off, Randel tried to catch him but didn't get him in time and he ended up with a big bump and bruise. Randel felt so bad and guilty but Anthony shook it off quick and was laughing and dancing as usual. After that we played until Anthony couldn't handle it anymore and he finally crashed. I hope tomorrow is as great as the past two days have been. The pic is one of my favorite and pretty much sums up how Anthony was all weekend.
